    Renting a home can be more economical when visiting a destination for more than a few days, particularly if you are traveling with friends or family. In Nantucket my favorite place to rent is the village of Nashaquisset, a short distance from the heart of town. I have rented here for the last 10 years and absolutely love it. We go back every September. The privately owned homes vary from two to five bedrooms and feature an open, airy design. All have fireplaces, many have sun porches. Nestled in winding streets and separated by crushed white shell paths and rose covered picket fences, the homes are beautifully decorated and landscaped. Each has a patio surrounded by a lush garden. Many have decks and all have outdoor showers. The complex features an Olympic size pool and surrounding deck and tennis courts.

  • Review of "Nantucket Island Tours" at Nantucket

    This was a nice way to get around the island. The wharfs are historical tourist spots. The tour will take you to see other parts of the island, which are refreshing. Ralph was our driver and he was a fantastic guide.
